Spring and Summer Recipes
Springtime in Maine is a celebration. After months of soups, stews, or whatever cooks well in a pot and pairs well with bread, cheese, and a good stout, we welcome live grown foods with open arms and faces toward the sun. From fiddleheads to dandelion greens, if it's fresh and green, it's on our plates!
Summer is a promise of long days, late dinners, and simple but celebrated foods that oftentimes come from less than ten miles from our home. We keep our farmers market baskets on-hand, tend to our garden daily, and pick berries to freeze for winter as if it were a part-time job.
